Rumor has it that suicide-bombing martyrs to the cause of fanatical Islam are granted 72-virgins black-eyed upon their ascent to heaven. Don’t we owe these pictures of purity a modicum of civil rights? We’re sending them the most uncouth of men,murderers, and naïve, gullible children. Don’t these virgins have any choice in the matter, any self-determination? While we may excuse the oppression of their earth-bound counterparts on the hallowed grounds of “cultural norms,” these women are in heaven-surely they deserve better!
And what of female suicide bombers? That’s a discrimination case waiting to bust open. Call in the ACLU.
